Eligibility Requirements
Permits, Paperwork, Rebates - We handle It All
Be a residential electric customer in Massachusetts served by Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, Liberty Utilities, Berkshire Gas or Unitil.- Equipment must be ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate certified.
- Use the equipment to supplement or replace oil, propane, or electric baseboard as the primary heating system.
- Purchase and install equipment between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
- Have the equipment installed by a licensed contractor who is a member of the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network.
- Ensure all necessary forms and documentation are submitted within 60 days of installation.
Inflation Reduction Act Tax Credits
Formerly known as the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) tax credits offer further opportunities to save on qualifying home upgrades.
